Sinus Medication Solution

I am documenting my water only fast to share with others whether or not it helps me get over a sinus infection. My whole life I have had asthma and allergy problems so getting a sinus infection is very common for me…I get sick once or twice a year; however, in the past I would just take an antibiotic and I’d feel better within about two days. This time I want to try something new. Instead of relying on antibiotic that just get stronger and stronger I want to try and heal naturally on my own. I want to see if this technique will aid me in taking care of the problem at the root instead of the symptoms twice a year. Perhaps I will not get sick again as easily if I stop relying on antibiotics and instead focus on exercising my immune system. Like my nose is just stuffed and my sinuses are like clogged. I don’t really feel to bad like cold wise I just wanna be able to clear my sinuses so I can talk with out sounding like a retard and quit blowing my nose. What medication is better to take for this? or do you know of a better one or maybe not a medication but a remedy. Please help!!! lol

Sinus Polyps and High Blood Pressure

ive had a headache for two weeks now on the top of my head i went to the dr today and she had me lean forward and asked me if i felt dizzy and i did so she told me i have a sinus infection and my nose is stuffy, is this a reason to stay home from work?

I have suffered all of my life with severe/chronic sinusitis. When I get it, it totally takes over my life and I can’t focus on anything else.

I get severe pain at the side of my nose, in my jaw and bizarely my neck gets very painful and crunches when I move it. I regularly break out in sweats, get nauseus and have nose bleeds.

It usually lasts for about 4-5 days and there seems to be a definite link with my menstrual cycle in that it usually starts a couple of days before my period. I also get it if an aerosol is sprayed near to me. I can instantly feel my nostrils twitching!!

The worst thing is that nothing seems to relieve the pain. I take ibuprofen and sinus relief capsules (with paracetomol) every 4 hours and it doesn’t even take the edge off the pain. Steam inhalation does very little also. I’ve had Doxycycline from my GP a few times but it doesn’t stop is coming back long term.

I would be most grateful for any tips on pain relief as Im totally fed up!!
