I’m curious to know due to the fact I’m currently ailed with a sinus infection, however I don’t have the ability to see a doctor about it.
I found out that yes it is safe, due to Benadryl being an anti-hystimine, and AMOXICILLIN an anti-boitic.
Allegra-D 24-hour qd (for allergies)
Biaxin 500 mg bid (sinusitis)
Flovent 440 mcg bid (asthma)
Benadryl 50 mg q4h prn (I get a lot of rashes, so this is used and OK’d by my dermatologist to be taken with the Allegra-D, even though it’s 2 antihistamines — right now it’s for eczema and some contact dermatitis/hives)
… and now what I’m thinking of taking is a DuoNeb nebulizer treatment (Albuterol inhailer isn’t cutting it, and last time it was this bad, neither did the Xopenex, so I had to be put on oral steroids and DuoNeb [atrovent and albuterol]).
Can these things be taken together? Thanks so much!
Also! I forgot to add! Sometimes I get a little chest pain while doing the DuoNeb treatment… is that normal? It goes away within 10 minutes of being done.
I know it will raise my blood pressure, but my blood pressure is usually VERY low (85/55 – 95/65), and in the hospital when they gave me 4 back-to-back DuoNeb treatments, it only went up to like 100/70.
