Sinus Medication Solution

I’ve been having problems with severe pain and swelling on the side of my nose for about 5 days now, and I’ve been suffering from a sinus infection for about 10 days. I get them chronically and antibiotics don’t really work any more, which is why I waited so long before going to the doctors; at this point it barely makes a difference. Anyway, I get them about once a month, go on antibiotics for 20 days, feel OK for 10 days, then I’m back on the antibiotics again – a terrible cycle! This has been going on for 10+ years, and I’ve never had a swollen face before, but my doctor said that this swelling I’m experiencing is from the infected sinus fluid leaking into my face I guess (?). I’m thinking that as I’m becoming more resistant to the antibiotics, the sinus infections are just getting worse. Anyway, I also got the biggest pimple of my life in that same area (I’ve never had acne) — could that be the infected sinuses “leaking out” through my skin where it’s so swollen in that area?
Also, has anyone heard of getting a swollen cheekbone filled with fluid that’s extremely painful (the part where your cheekbone connects to your nose) with sinusitis? Thank you so much!

I just quit my job so I don’t have health insurance right now. Just wanted to see if a sinus infection was like strep throat, and would go away after awhile? Or will it only get better with medication?

I’ve had surgery for a deviated septum with no results. I also have under developed sinus passages in my forehead so I get a great deal of swelling and pain in my eyes as well. Always in pain from this. I’m hoping someone has an idea or two. Thanks

So here I am, AGAIN, with another sinus infection/allergies.

Just about a month ago I had almost the same exact thing, and I posted a question on here.

It started with a cancer soar under my tongue. About a week ago. I started to feel bad this past monday. I had headaches, was tired, and kind of weak. It went away, and wednesday, I had another one on my cheek. I felt tired, weak, thirsty. I drank lots of water and gingerale, grape juice, gatorade, orange juice, anything. I havent eaten much though.

I noticed a few days ago there was a strain in my neck too. In class I looked to my right, then put my hand on the left side of my neck to rest, and It felt huge. If I pushed on it, it gave back a little tension, like a soar muscle.
I went to the doctor, he said he couldnt find any glands, so its probally a pulled muscle. The thing is huge now, if I stand and look straight ahead, you can tell one side is bigger.
I need some pain relief, stuff to eat/drink, feel better

I have chronic swollen sinus, caused mostly by the air pressure in the valley I live in, plus allergies. The pain is pretty bad, in all of them, not just behind my cheekbones. It’s not that I have tons of mucus in them so much as the tissues are very swollen. I don’t want drugs. My Mom gave me a neti pot last week but it only gives a little relief to the nasal area, nothing else. Does anyone have suggestions? Thank you.
