Question by : Intense sinus pressure with no runny nose? Help please!?
So my face feels like it’s about to explode, I’m sure it’s allergies, not sure what kind though.
I have a very strong pressure around my nose and face area, giving me slight earaches and just general discomfort. The thing is though, my nose is completely clear, no drainage what-so-ever and I can breath in and out fine.
Can someone please help me with some kind of at-home relief of this, no medicines please. Will running a luke-warm saline solution through my nose to help to relieve pressure?
And helpful recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Answer by Chu_Chi’s Mom You can try appling some Peppermint oil or vicks around your area of pressure or possibly even a warm wash cloth on your face. My dad taught me to moisten a hand towel and put it in the microwave for 25-30 seconds. It will be hot for a moment but it will also stay warm longer. then lay down and relax all the muscles in your face, make sure to have a back up towel right next to you in tin foil waiting when the 1st gets cold. Good luck and if it doesnt get better you are gonna have to go to the doc. The saline solution wont do you any good..it is for relieving stuffiness and you can breathe fine so… Try the cloth or put your head with a towel over a boiling pan of water.. Hope something helps…

Answer by Bob M You’re gonna laugh at this, but it really works. It was recommended to me by my Doctor coz nothing else (including the expensive stuff) seemed to work for me.
He told me to use any old Eye Drops I had (like Murine or Clear Eyes) – no matter how old they were. A few squirts up each nostril and within one minute, my runny nose stopped for up to 5 hours.
When you squirt the Eye Drops in, hold your head back and breathe as deep as you can through your nose. It doesn’t taste great, but it works every time.
I ate a Serrano pepper last night… it kinda of hurt a bit. Unfortunately, i was gonna eat a habanero to clear a sinus infection, but the lady at Wegmans forgot to put them in the bag Video Rating: 5 / 5
Question by YellowRose: What are natural home remedies I can use/take to get rid of my stuffy and sometimes runny nose?
This has been going on for over a week, and the meds I took is not so effective. What have you done that really works fast?? I don’t want to take any more allergy/sinus pills! And another thing, my nasal cavity is somewhat swollen too.
