Hi. I’m 28 and live in a polluted city (Houston). lol Moving isn’t a current option for me. Any advice on non-medical ways to deal with sinuses? I’ve seen drs. and the medication doesn’t last long (chronic). Occassionally drinks high in citrus work or spicy foods. Anything else??

Try a neti-pot, it’s supposed to clean out your sinuses. Its a pot, and you put water and a bit of salt in it. You then put the the end in your nose and start to poor. The water will then come out of the other end of your nose. Doing this will clean out your nose, and get ride of your sinuses. I learned this on Oprah, and my dad just recently bought one for his sinuses. You can buy them at health food type stores.

Here’s a picture of it being used. It may sound gross, but tons of people swear by it!

I have this dreadful cold, and my nose is terrible congested. Anyone know of some natural remedies or a good brand of decongestant (I tried Sudafed and Tylenol sinus with no luck) to help unplug my nose?

Try wetting a facecloth in hot water. Wring it out, and hold it over your nose, so that the heat can be absorbed through the skin.

try nasal inhalers..
n dont drink or wash ur head with cold water.. it’ll just aggravate ur sinus even more..
