After a night of agony, I saw the doc and started antibiotics and Sudafed (with ephedrine). Unfortunately, the pressure is getting very painful again. Aspirin doesn’t seem to help a lot. Any suggestions OTHER THAN an ice pack? I’ve been using a chopped ice pack and it works. However, the relief only lasts for about 10 minutes after I’ve removed it and then the pain is back full force. Doctor’s office is closed. Thanks!
Well, I’ll dig out the ibuprofen and the Actifed and take a hot bath. Thanks!

Joe, I love your answer although it didn’t address my pain dilemma. I also wanted to add that the neti pot only clears out the lower sinus cavities, not the upper ones which is where my pain was most excruciating. I will try it though.
