I am documenting my water only fast to share with others whether or not it helps me get over a sinus infection. My whole life I have had asthma and allergy problems so getting a sinus infection is very common for me…I get sick once or twice a year; however, in the past I would just take an antibiotic and I’d feel better within about two days. This time I want to try something new. Instead of relying on antibiotic that just get stronger and stronger I want to try and heal naturally on my own. I want to see if this technique will aid me in taking care of the problem at the root instead of the symptoms twice a year. Perhaps I will not get sick again as easily if I stop relying on antibiotics and instead focus on exercising my immune system. I woke up this morning and my soar throat is completely gone…no yellow sinus drainage & my lymph node is no longer swollen or painful to touch. I am very pleased with the results of this fast. Most of the time when we are coming down with a cold or infection we usually lose our appetite…this makes me think that our body is trying to tell us to focus on healing instead of digestion. I will be breaking my fast today. I will update you in a few days just to let everyone know how I am feeling.
