Question by Me: Can a sinus infection cause mid-lower abdominal pain and nausea?
I went to the doctor today and found out that I have a sinus infection and my stomach has been killing me all day. It’s my mid-lower abdomen, it basically hurts and I guess I could also describe it as having some pressure, which going to the bathroom does not relieve at all. It’s been consistent pretty much all day long. My doctor seemed baffled by it, she didn’t think it had anything to do with the infection.

Perhaps from antibiotic for the sinus infection can bother your stomach and nausea due to stomach acid.
Perhaps the infection is agitating your stomach acid to feel sick and nausea.
However,..
It could be your diet, could be stress related issue such as anxiety or simply has stomach virus on top of sinus infection.
For soothing stomach, try to drink Ginger tea (Fresh sliced ginger drop it in a hot water, then add a lot of honey).

For instance a misalignment of the second cervical vertebrae in the neck is known to cause problems in the sinuses and can contribute to and cause sinus headaches and sinus pressure. So by giving a gentle, yet specific chiropractic adjustment to the second cervical vertebrae, this can relieve and help a person’s sinus pressure and pain. We know that structure affects function. By helping the structure, as in this case the upper cervical vertebrae, this can thus help the functioning of the sinuses and also help them drain better, to help the body get rid of excess mucus and to eliminate sinus pressure. Sinus Pressure: The impact of chiropractic adjustment We also know that the nervous system, which is your brain and spinal cord is actually “hard-wired” to your immune system. So therefore by getting a chiropractic adjustment this can and does raise your immune system, any where from 200 to 400%. This helps the body heal itself, as we know that the body can and does heal itself! By having a stronger immune system, this acts as a pro-active event to prevent you from … Video Rating: 5 / 5
