Question by digitalanolog: How do you get your toddler cough up all the mucus from his lung and sinus?
My son’s illness is completely gone, but he has lingering left over mucus from the illness. We tried our best to show him how and tried ourselves at best to remove his mucus, but he always pulls it in even when it wants to come out. So, what home remedies are there that we can take advantage of for removing my son’s mucus?

Fluids, rest, musinex and garble with warm salt water.
The MJ got nothing to do with it. And home remedies will not kill an infection so if it has been a week you will need to see a Dr. There are these things called clinics.

Question by Veronika: I have a sinus infection and my Eustachian tube is clogged with mucus?
Would it be a bad idea to ride roller coasters? I’m not sure if it would cause painful pressure in my ear later or worsen the sinus infection. I’m supposed to go to six flags in a couple days.

i don’t know about roller coasters, but i have been on an airplane with sinus trouble:ouch, very painful.
as you are home now, buy Sudafed or any other decongestant and try washing/rinsing your nasal cavities with a Neti pot.
I use this, its sold at pharmacies from a company called Neil Med.
In the beginning,do the rinse/wash 2-3 times a day.
when its better, once a day is enough.

This is how an enzyme can break down phlegm and inflammtion and help clear up you lungs to prevent infection. In fact, blocked sinuses can be helped by removing the mucus, which is the big problem. Once mucus goes, the lung can clean up better and you can recover from colds better . In fact it is said with less or no inflammation you chance of having a worse cold is lessened.
