Sinus Medication Solution

I am prone to getting a sinus infection at least four times a year, and I am tired of having to go spend money on a doctor and a prescription when I know what is wrong with me. I would love to know something I could do to avoid these quarterly visists and maybe even avoid the infections altogether.

My son, age 19 has a problem with sinus congestion. He stays clogged up almost all winter. The two things I have found that works best has been to humidify the air and also hot showers ( humidity again). Was wondering if there were any other ideas, esp natural remedies such as herbs, vitamens, eliminating of certain foods from the diet, etc. Appreciate imput.

I am tired of begging for pain meds for a severe issue. I am sick of being stereotyped and thought of as a substance abuser. When I just want relief.

I am completely frustrated with one doctor in my pediatrician’s practice. He ended up giving me a prescription for an infection anyway, but I was just wondering… I brought my baby in because I suspected a sinus infection, shouldn’t he have looked up her nose? Could he really evaluate a sinus infection by only looking in her ears?
