Sinus Medication Solution

Question by my_socks_are_pink: I have a sinus infection and clogged left ear?
My ear has been clogged for about 40 hours. I have been on antibiotics for about 1.5 days. Will It clear up eventually? What can I do? Will the antibiotics clear it? It’s mucus or fluid built up from my sinus infection.

Yeah it’ll clear up soon. The eustacion tube goes from the nasal area to the ear canal, so it’s probably just backed up in there!

This statred as a cold a little over a week ago, with slight vision problem, similar to what I have when I get a sinus headache. I called the doctor on Thursday because i was stilled stuffed up and my vision was a little worse. I started a course of antibiotcs and decongestants, it has been 3 days. So far my vision has not improved. Has anyone had something like this? Is this more than just a side effect of my sinus infection?

My left ear is plugged up and every now and then my jaw hurts but I do not have a cold or sinus infection . This has been going on for close to a week now. it does not hurt so I do not necessarily think I need to see the doctor. I would love to hear some ideas as far as home remedies. I already tried blowing my nose and holding my nose and blowing. Please help, this is really annoying!!
Also, I should probably add that I have been having the chronic runny nose that I usually have when the weather gets cold.
