Question by Bella: I’ve been having extreme pressure around my eyes and forehead, the doctor told me I had a sinus infection?
He told me it was probably a sinus infection. The pressure is around my eyes and forehead. I have a stiff neck which is known to be a symptom. Every once and a while I can feel these little cracks in my sinuses ( I have been on anitbiotics for a few days now, but only having some relief) But I always thought that you have congested nasal passages when you have an infection, and I don’t… just wondering if this could be something else… Its really agonizing sometimes and I would like some answers.. Thanks.

Answer by Katie W You don’t always; sometimes it stays deep in the sinuses. Temple and eye pain/pressure (especially between the eyes) is indicative of a sinus problem, yes; I hadn’t heard of a stiff neck as being a symptom of sinus infection though, odd.
I *would* worry a bit if it’s been several days on antibiotics with little to no improvement, though; you may need a different antibiotic. I’d suggest calling up your doctor again for advice. You may also need a decongestant and expectorant to help thin the congestion in the sinuses and help relieve the pain and pressure while the antibiotic hopefully works on the cause. There’s a lot of good over-the-counter ones; I personally prefer Mucinex these days.
This video will explain everything…I apologize to any and everyone who has still been waiting patiently for my Q&A, which I will try to make this Friday, if I can. Video Rating: 5 / 5
Question by sally_that_girl!: I’ve just undergone a 10 day treatment for sinusitis with amoxicillan. Now I have tonsilitis. ?
My question is how likely is it for someone to develop another infection while they are already taking antibiotics? I went to see my doctor and she gave me another 10 day treatment of amoxicillan. Is it possible to develop new infections during treatment?
Question by Me: I’ve been taking antibiotics for my sinus infection for about 5 days, stomach is still upset off and on?
All my other symptoms of the sinus infection have cleared, and I have not had a single problem with my nose throughout the course of these antibiotics or even the week before that. My swollen glands have gone down, my throat and my eye quit hurting. And my stomach doesn’t hurt after taking the antibiotics, it does it at any time. Any ideas? Is it still the sinus infection that’s causing the pain?

Answer by John There are over 300 different antibiotics and antibiotic kills the friendly bacteria in your intestines.
Live digestive enzymes heal and every single cell in your body needs live digestive enzymes to break down undigested food we eat. You should chew your food well to create saliva which is live enzymes.
