Question by Wutz it worth 2 ya?: How can I ease this continous dry cough I have from sinus infection? It’s miserable!?
I’ve been sick for 2 weeks and a few days ago I saw my doctor. I thought it was just really bad allergies. She said, yes, it’s really bad allergies and I have a severe sinus infection on top of it. She put me on Amoxicillian 875 mg, twice per day, and 2 prescrption allergy meds, twice per day. I’m still dry coughing and I cannot stand it! I’ve been through just about all the cough syrups there is, plus Alka Seltzer Sinus and Allergy, Sudaphed PH, Drixoral, regular Alaverts, Delysm and everything I can think of and I’m SO sick of this cough. Is there anything I can honestly get relief by taking???? I’m so sick of cough drops that as soon as they tough my mouth I’m nauseated from them.
Does the apple cider and water thing really work?
Any other remedies you all may know of to calm this hack?
Also, I’ve already tried Benadryl and Max. Benadryl both, no luck for the cough relief department.

How about just drinking some hot tea and putting a humidifier on in your bedroom while you sleep. The humidifier will work wonders.

Question by blame it on the a-a-alcohol: Will a sinus infection clear up on it’s own with out antibiotics?
I went to the doctor cuz I’ve had a cough for the past couple weeks, and they said I have a sinus infection. They gave me amoxicillin ( a type of antibiotic) but I’d rather not take it if I don’t have to. Will it clear up on it’s own without the medicine? How long will it take?

If it is viral, it clears up on its own. If it is bacterial, you need antibiotics. Either way, you have to take your chance.

I have a sinus infection and sound like crap. But I promise to do my requested videos soon!

This is a long update and is mostly a vent. I also have a sinus infection. NOT fun. Essentially, I don’t enjoy being the center of attention. People often assume that my being outgoing is accompanied by a desire to be the center of attention. This is a very false assumption. So, this is a vent, update, and etc.
