Question by isotope2007: Seniors do you suffer from sinus infections, have you tried this home remedy?
I applied Mentholatum (sp) rub directly to the sinus areas under my eyes and next to my nose. the sinus infection bags were getting unsightly, then applied a hot damp face cloth to my entire face and inhaled the Mentholatum fumes as well. It stings a bit but I could actually see the swelling go down, It works like a charm for me.

Has anyone else ever tried this ? Does it work for you too?
Make sure it doesnt get into your eyes!

Question by Tubal: sinus infections / sinusitis / headache question?
i started having constant headaches about 3 months ago. got a ct, blood tested… everything. so far, i have had no major relief. ive tried anti-depressants. exercising, changing sleep and eating habits… a lot of things.
anyway, earlier this week i went to an ear, nose and throat and he said i have sinusitis and put me on some antibiotics. could this be a reason for the headaches and fatigue? how bad are the headaches? because mine are reeeealllly bad sometimes….
is this almost over?

Yes absolutely sinuses can cause chronic headaches. Antibiotics may clear it up for a while but if you have a tendency toward sinusitis you should start doing things like: steaming your head over boiling water under a towel, as if you had a cold, and learning to use a Netipot (google it).

What do you think? Answer below!
