Question by Joan: Home remedies for a head cold?
My friend always covers up with a bunch of blankets at night and ’sweats away the toxins’ is there any truth behind this? Any other advice for getting rid of a head cold especially sinus congestion?

Question by Michelle: I was eating Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and then I sneezed (my entire head was stinging?)?
I have pretty bad sinus problems. My ENT suggested to get my adenoids and tonsils removed, but I’m a bit scared of surgery in general. Anyways, one thing I know that always clears my sinuses is spicy foods. My mom did not feel like going to the Asian store and buying her usual red chili peppers (yes, they are extremely spicy/make your tongue tingly hot) which I usually cut up and sprinkle on everything I eat. (It enhances and honestly gives your food a flavor boost. Try it if you have sinus problems! If you’re not used to overly spiciness, don’t do it. Start small and use pepper flakes.)
Sorry, I tend to talk more off my ADD meds. To the point, I was eating Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. Was the only thing in Walgreens that would give me somewhat my same spicy sinus relief results. Suddenly I felt the tingle in my nose and let out a huge sneeze. Immediately after, my whole head and nose stung/burned so bad.. My eyes were tearing up. I couldn’t see straight. It felt like wasps were flying about in me head/sinuses. It was a whole 10 mins before the stinging went away. When I eat regular, fresh, chili peppers straight, it too makes me sneeze a lot. But when I sneeze eating those, I don’t get a stinging/burning sensation. It just gets rid of tons of gunk.. Haha.
Does anyone know why Flamin’ Hot Cheetos made me feel this way after sneezing?
Random, I know, but thanks in advance.
