I woke up this morning and my soar throat is completely gone…no yellow sinus drainage & my lymph node is no longer swollen or painful to touch. I am very pleased with the results of this fast. Most of the time when we are coming down with a cold or infection we usually lose our appetite…this makes me think that our body is trying to tell us to focus on healing instead of digestion. I will be breaking my fast today. I will update you in a few days just to let everyone know how I am feeling. Instead of going to the doctor when falling ill I recommend trying this approach next time! :) The antibiotics I was prescribed in the past kept getting stronger and stronger over the years, so I wanted to break this cycle by exercising my own immune system. It worked.

i had the funkiest thing in my house SO I THOUGHT it was my sinus infection the whole time and i painted some new art

I had a sinus infection, but the other symptoms disappeared a few days ago. My ears still pop every time I swallow or yawn. Sometimes it is just one, and sometimes it is both. I already took amoxicillin for the sinus infection.

I had a bad sinus infection last week, but it was mostly dry. I couldn’t blow the stuff out. I started a low-grade fever on Monday of last week, went to the doctor on Tuesday, and a week later the congestion is gone but I still have a low-grade fever around 100. Should I be concerned that there’s something else wrong?
I’ve been on a macrolide — Clarithromycin — for 8 days.
