Sinus Medication Solution

Question by rosebud: Anyone have a sure fire home remedy for sinus pain with a cold (no fever)?
I can’t take decongestants because of bp meds. I’ve taken Corcidin HBP for colds and Excedrin, but the headache and facial pain just won’t go away. A hot shower gave me relief for about 15 minutes. It’s been two days now, and it’s not getting any better. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
I think I’ll go out and pick up a neti pot. It seems that many of you have had success with it. Thank you all for your answers.

ibuprofen and eucalyptus tea I’m not sure if it has an effect w ur meds but if it does u can also inhale it
boil the leaves put ur face by the pot w a towel over ur head and inhale the tea.
Also a humidifier in ur room helps alot

I really like this video. But it really makes the three weeks I can’t ride my pretty pony seem to drag on foreeeeeeeeeeeever. D; So, EVERYBODY BE WISHING FOR FIRE TO GET WELL SOON!!! (She’s got infected teeth, and it could still get down into the bone and all, and could turn fatal. Dr. Matt says we caught it fast enough, but it’s still dicey. Sinus infection too. Poor Fire-Bear. She’s had the sinus infection for 12-14 weeks now. (yup, I haven’t riden my lovely pony in almost 14 weeks! sucky) Hopefully she’ll get better soon. 11/24/08 Update: Well, Fire’s mostly better now. Still kinda sick. But she’s out and rearin’ to go! Slowly videos should start to surface again, depending on the winter weather. Mostly bareback/bridle-less and english riding. (we’re training! =3) 12/24/08 Sheryl Crow’s “Soak Up the Sun” is also used. I don’t own the audio. Video and pictures I do.
