Sinus Medication Solution

Question by Paul S: I recently went to the doctors and was given a Z-Pack for a sinus infection now I have a red rash on my chest?
This past week I was feeling pretty sick so I went to the doctors and was given a Z-Pack for a sinus infection, last night I took the first dose and woke up this morning with light red dots on my chest and maybe some really lite ones on my face. Should I stop taking Z-Pack? If so, will I still get better? I don’t want it to get worse.

Yes!!!!!! If you honestly think that the rash started just after you took it!!!!!! The thing about zpack that people like is not so many pills. But u only take it for 5 days and it stays in your system for 14. It could progressly get worse. But watch signs of swollen tounge or shotness of breath. So if I were you I would call the doctors office that gave it to me and tell them to give you something else also tell them to make sure they put in your chart that you have a possible allergy to macrolide antibotics!!!! And take some benedryl!!!

I had a pilonidal cyst / abscess. It was super fun and now female or male nurses touch and clean the hole they made at the top of my buttcrack every day. Note: Yes, I know the difference between spaying / neutering a cat & local / general anesthetic. My mind just starts to shut off when I’m having a conversation with the tiny people inside my camera.

Question by elizabeth: Please are there any doctors out there? Need relief from sinus infection!?
I have gone to the doctor 3 times in the last 3 or 4 weeks trying to get rid of this sinus infection. I was prescribed an antiboitic and nose spray and I did that and felt the same. They then put me on a stronger antibiotic that I was supposed to take once a day for 3 days which I did, and still I feel the same. I fear that this is going to get worse and turn into something more serious if I can’t fix this simple sinus infection. I also have been getting cold easily and keep trying to get the mucas out of my throat. It’s just in my throat and not my nose. Any help please?! I really do not want to go back a fourth time this month!

I am NOT a doctor, but I have similar problems all throughout allergy season. I have found that a neti pot works wonders for me. It took me a while to figure out how to use it correctly but once I did it was great. Good luck!
