My mother in law has been miserable yesterday and today. She will not go to the emergency room but because of the holiday her docotor is closed until Monday. She says her head is full and she has been resting and drinking tea but she is getting no relief. She said it is worse after a hot shower. I am running out of ideas. Anything you got would be helpful! Thanks
she can not take sudafed because of her heart disease but thank you! I wish it was that easy. That’s why I asked on here
I have had pilonidal excision surgery seven times now, and am in desperate need of an eighth go around. I have an open sore that drains and bleeds, and I am five months pregnant. No hot baths, no pain meds, no surgeries. Anyone know what to do? My OB-GYN said wait till the baby’s born to deal with it, as did my Colon and Rectal Surgeon (who also recommended a C-section), but I am in pain now. What really sucks is that I can’t sleep on my back or my stomach now! Hurray for me. Although, I never thought I be glad to have my pilonidal sinus bleed – at first I thought something was wrong with the baby. It was a relief to realize that my wound was open again! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Does anybody have any information (or can direct me to a website that does) about the relationship between autoimmune diseases and sinus infections? I don’t have an official diagnosis for a certain autoimmune disease since the docs are still trying to figure out which one, though I have a lot of lupus symptoms just no positive lupus test, only positive ANA.
I have a history of chronic sinus infections (already had my sinuses drained once) and allergies and I have noticed that when I have a bad sinus infection and get on antiboitics I feel so much better after about 5 days. Not just relief from the sinus issues, but also from many of the autoimmune symptoms (fatigue, aches and pain). Just wondering if there is some correlation between the two that may help me get a diagnosis and some long term relief.
