Question by Spike: Common Cold, What To Do And Not To Do?
I know that I have the common, because it started out with sollowing my own saliva and it hurted alittle. But drinking water, juice, coffee, milk, tea and soda don’t hurt at all. I also got the stuffed up nose, and it was dry not even wet or had to blow my nose after using the Afrin Nasal Spray. This is when I first started having it That was like four days ago. On Thursday I started having some mucus, But have I have been taking Walgreens’s own Mucinex brand, even before having any mucus to cough out, or stuck in the throat near the start of lungs. The one I’m taking is their Mucus Relief PE Sinus Congestion. I think I’m also having that where the ear will not pop when one yawns, like up in the airplane or driving higher up in the mountains. The only sounds that sound like it alittle faded like background sound, is when I’m typing on the desktop computer or laptop keyboard and when a person like a friend or family member talks in crowed place or where there is real loud noise. But my OWN GUESS is it not a 100% faded like background sound. But sounds that sound fine are when the TV is on(I don’t need to turn it on louder then usual at all), at the movies, cars going by on the street, whether I’m outside or in the house, cars that are like two to three blocks away and honk. Last of all at the dinner or breakfast/lunch talble and family members are talking, the sounds fine. I yawn and pop my ears almost all the time out of sudden, like when I’m watching TV, out hanging out with friends, at the movies, on the way some where in car or public transit, shopping, talking a walk and so. I do it without thinking and most of the time it right the ear did pop and there are time it not needed. Now with the common cold when I yawn to pop my ear, it like there is notheing to pop and on the right ear there crackling sound, ONLY when I do the yawn to see does the ear need to be popped. The left ear has a very little sound that different when I do the yawn to see. For MY OWN GUESS is my ear don’t need to be popped at all or it needs alittle popping. I know that I don’t have bronchitis, since I’m not having majorly alot of mucus to cough out. It only sometime, and there are times when it not that easy to cough it out. So I have to do that breathing that is a cross between brething heavy after exercise and playing sports and when a doctor say take deep breath to get it out. NOT ALL THE TIME, also I’m not over reacting saying it or could it be bronchitis I might also temporary anosmia that comes with the common cold, not sure. I’m also taking some Chinese meds.

So what should I do and don’t do to help it go a way a little quicker then it would last. This is not the first time I had the common cold. But I don’t want why did it ha the ve to happen this time or it only got so much back to normal, say like yawning and ear popping and how much temporary anosmia is back to normal. That time having it was that time not now. that how I see it. By the way are there any other med that would be good to take, one can just get at Walgreens, Target or Castco with out needing a doctor’s writing. I read on one site it said the Afrin Nasal Spry only use for three days and not longer. I posted this question a few days ago, one person suggested Sudafed. What else are there that I can take, that could help get alttle back of the ear to pop and the be able to smell even when there is still the cold. Also read on a few sites Sudafed can get a person to be hooked on it, if too much is taken.
Sorry people for being so long, but I wanted to put the details. So that IF anyone who answers it, have had the specific things that comes along with the common cold can give alittle details on what to that works. Also what over the counter meds to take that helps the best. Alot of sites don’t have specific details on what to do if it this way or that way and when it not that bad or only so much of it not 100% and only feel like it a 100%. I have searched a few times on the stuff to find more on what to do to help with it.

*****PLEASE READ ME***** Facebook: www.facebook.com Blog: ennabeauty.blogspot.com DailyBooth dailybooth.com I know, I say UM a lot, but I can’t help it… Okay, so here are four common body problems many people face: Halitosis, Canker Sores, Cold Sores, and Styes. I am in no way an expert on any of this. I am not a doctor or a dentist. These problems are some that I have had or do have, or are problems of people I do know. As I say in the video, if you do have serious problems, or any questions, go to your doctor. Halitosis (Bad Breath) Causes: for majority of people the cause is bacteria in the mouth breaking down food stuffs and releasing waste. Other causes: Gum disease, poorly fitted dental appliances, yeast infection (or other infections of the mouth), dry mouth, Respiratory Tract Infections such as pneumonia or bronchitis, chronic sinus infections, chronic acid reflux, and kidney or liver diseases. Prevention: Good oral hygiene, seeing a dentist regularly, stopping smoking/chewing tobacco, and drinking water. Treatment: Antiseptic mouthwashes Canker Sores Causes: Unknown, but thought to be stress, immune problems, or nutrition problems. Can be an indicator of underlying health problems (if chronic), but not in all cases. Identifying: occur on soft, fleshy parts of mouth such as the inside of lip, cheeks, on the tongue or soft pallet. Has red boarders and a white or grayish center. Canker sores are NOT CONTAGIOUS. Treatment: Topical pain relief medication Prevention
