Question by Philip: Can a Sinus Infection cause these pains?
Can a sinus infection cause pain in the back upper right part of your mouth? And also give you ear aches and a sensation like it needs to pop but it can’t? And finally can it cause really bad head aches? I’m experiencing all three of these but there only on the right side of my head. My back two teeth are really aching, my ear aches, and today it feels like I have a migrane all day today.

Answer by Julian M Sinusitis can cause pain in your upper teeth, along with ear aches and other pains throughout the sinus areas. A primary symptom would be thick yellowish or greenish mucus drainage from the front and back of the nose. If there is mucus backed up inside the Eustachian tubes, this can cause a build-up of fluids in the ear that can become infected if they cannot drain, which will ultimately lead to middle ear infection. The Valsalva manuever (popping ears by pinching nostrils shut and breathing) would not be a recommended move if there is fluid build-up as this could push an infection deeper into the ear canal. If swallowing, yawning or gum chewing doesn’t relieve pressure in the ear, you should try a decongestant like Sudafed. Headaches are also common with sinus infection. Pain in the head or sinuses that becomes worse when lying down would also be symptomatic of infection.
Question by Die, Dai, Dai-suki: Sinus infection cause Tunnel Vision?
I have a lot of pressure behind my eyes, sometimes it makes me really tired. I tried Sudafed, the first night I used it it cleared it out a bit, then the pressure came back, now everytime I use it there is only a TINY bit of relief only lasting an hour or so. The pressure is built up in my eye socks, and feels like my eyes are going to pop out, it’s causing migraines as well, dizziness, blurred vision,Feeling weak, nose bleeding, drainage.
If I get up too fast I get dizzy and sometimes things start to go black but I always try to breathe and it’s fine.
I just want to know if my bad sinus infection can cause my tunnel vision to happen? I feel a lot of pressure in my head. I haven’t been to the doctor I was hoping it would clear up on it’s own but it’s been about 3 months.
Anything Natural I can take for a Sinus infection? I’d love to not have to take any meds. I don’t even like taking Sudafed.

Question by MS: Can sinus infection cause arm pain while flying?
I wast just diagnosed with a sinus infection, actually i’ve had problems with sinuses for a long time. I haven’t had a chance to buy the pills out yet. I was flying today and about 30 min in my arm started to hurt, dull, aching pain. Could that be something a sinus infection can do?
Thanks!

Answer by Zena No. A sinus infection would have no affect on your arm. Your arm is hurting for another reason. A sinus infection can affect all parts of your face and that’s about it.
