Question by Elizabeth: Can a sinus infection cause Bronchitis?
I’ve had a sinus infection and now it’s draining into my chest and I’m getting a cough with green phlegm. My chest is starting to get sore, so could I be developing bronchitis?

Answer by barbara Yes. You must remember that if you translate broncitis, it just means inflammation of the airways. With the color change of the sputum you may have a opportunistic infection in there and should see your doctor.

Question by Taylor: The doctor says I have a sinus infection but it feels like bronchitis?
I just had bronchitis. I’m feeling sick again. I went to the doctor and he said I have a sinus infection. He wasn’t to thorough though. It feels like bronchitis to me. I have a dry cough, sore throat, congestion, and ear pain. I think I have more then a sinus infection. My cough is really dry. What do you think?
I also have chills. And hot flashes but no fever.
My nose is kind of runny and when I had bronchitis my nose wasn’t really runny.
