Question by kend: What are the differences between an asthmatic specialist and a pulmanologist?
I have a reduced lung capacity which has caused a weakened physical condition. It was found by my allergist whom I went to because of extreme nasal congestion. He determined that I have no allergies, but asthma, after a lung capacity test, which was irritated by the heavy pollens now in my area. After two weeks of inhalents, medicines and nasal rinses I do not have relief or improvement to my sinuses, bronchial area or lungs.

a cold is usually a viral respiratory infection. not much you can do except treat symptoms. a sinus infection indicates with green snot. allergies are clear snot. a sinus infection is often bacterial. a nasal flush kit helps with drainage. available in any pharmacy. hot ,spicy foods help drain sinuses. if you have a sinus infection, it can be treated with anti biotics. i used sulfa based meds with great success until i developed an allergy to them.
