I believe I have a sinus infection but I’m unsure.. I have no insurance so what’s the best way to see the signs and also what’s the best way to treat it without insurance?

Answer by Suds_11 pretty much if you have pain where your cheek bones are or in your forehead and it feels like pressure then its a sinus infection.
you can always just get some over the counter stuff like mucinex or nyquill/dayquill. those will release sinus pressure.

I started menstruating on sunday and I also started to feel a cold coming on. During my monthly I will run a fever or feel very hot and warm. So from last week until now I have been feeling warm which isn’t unusual. Usually when I have a minor cold it turns into a sinus infection. So my question is my period is over and my sinus infection is nearing an end so why do I still have a fever?

You have stated your case so eloquently. It makes me feel sad to contradict you.
Here is what I think. You have your periods each month just like one half of this world’s population of your age group. Periods follow a predictable pattern. You are right on the money.
Colds and sinus infections do not follow a predictable pattern because your immunity state, age, nutritional status, virulence of causative agent are not always the same. You feel that that your sinus infection is nearing its end. This is your feeling. The truth is, according to you, “I still have a fever.” Fevers are caused by infections. Is it not possible that your infection is just beginning. Remember, it is possible to have one infection on the top of another etc?
Why is it nothing in the drug store has “cure” written on it? Has anyone noticed this? Every product has “relief” written on it, and they barely work! Why is it that you can eat 100 oranges to help cure a cold and not die or you can take 100 cold and sinus drugs (which are SUPPOSE to help you) and you would die? Do you see what I’m saying?
This synthetic medicine can kill you if you take to much, but nothing organic will ever kill you if you take a lot of it.
For instance, when I was 15, I had a tumour in my left testicle which wasn’t cancer. But the only way to see if it WAS cancer, was to cut my testicle out. The tumour was gone after that, but so was my testicle! Thousands of years of studying medicine, and this is what we’ve come to?
It seems that the people who make medicine are not concerned with curing illness of any kind. If they do that, theyll lose money, since their “relief” drugs arent useful anymore. Does anyone feel this way? Please share.
By the way, what I was saying about my testicle being cut out, is I’m wondering is there not a better alternative to cancer treatments? It can’t be proved, but people say that EVERYTHING can be cured with things like herbs and roots. Why do we not use those instead? Are these people who produce medicine that greedy?
