Question by Leisurelydinner: face has been burning for 3 days now?
my face and eyes feel like deep heat has been applied to it, but they arn’t red. It hasn’t let up for 3 days now and i’ve resigned to sitting by a fan blasting on my face 24/7 for relief.

anyone know what can cause this? other symptoms i have are loud ringing in both ears, sinus pressure, headache.

thanks

I’d question sinusitis. Do you have colored nasal discharge? Fever? Dental, Orbital pain? If yes, see a doctor, you may need antibiotics. If no, try a decongestant to relieve the sinus pressure, vaporizer, hot herbal teas.
Hope you feel better soon.

warning ! I was sick recording this.. sinus infection and a bad cough D: sorry if its not as great as my voice is normally. “Moons out, it’s really bright. Reminds me of those times we shared.” Dont go for two; dont go for three. You’ve done it once, now im crying. Bridge: Why, do you do this to me ? Why, wont you let me be ? Let…Me…Be… Let…Me…Be… Chorus: You always know the right things to say. Of course you do, its just us two. No one to take it away. Of course you do, its just us two. No one to take it away. V2: “The tone of your voice reminds me of, moments we had alone in bed.” The things that you said, i can still hear them. “I dont wanna make you cry, I gotta get that smile.” Bridge: Why, do you do this to me ? Modernnomad67’s travel blog entry: “After the dance is was another long hike to Ireli village for our second night in Dogon land. At least in Ireli the beer was well chilled and there was much time to enjoy them and re-hydrate after the long hot day before dinner was served very late. Our guide through Mali (Grandpere) saw to it that our Dogon meals consisted of things westerners like us would find palatable, in this case chicken with sauce over spaghetti. The Dogon country meals were actually a pleasant surprise, especially after Dave’s warnings to us about their awfulness from his experience as a passenger on our same tour four years earlier. We all slept out in the open again on roofs of the buildings around the courtyard that form Ireli’s tourist center. A hot wind blew down the escarpment that night, whipping up a great deal of dust and suffocating me as I came to realize my respiratory condition was probably a sinus infection rather than just a cold. In the morning I began taking the antibiotic I brought along with me for such situations. In the morning we were taken on a guided tour of Ireli village, including a close up look at the cave dwellings carved high into the cliffs. The caves were the home of the Tellem people, the previous inhabitants of the region the Dogons

I am still the Mayor of Cwcville, Virginia; I’m recovering from a Sinus Infection/Virus; and I am tired of these Trolls constantly trying to control my life. Staying Strong and Straight, while in recovery, this is Chris Chan, reporting in.

Question by Bella: I’ve been having extreme pressure around my eyes and forehead, the doctor told me I had a sinus infection?
He told me it was probably a sinus infection. The pressure is around my eyes and forehead. I have a stiff neck which is known to be a symptom. Every once and a while I can feel these little cracks in my sinuses ( I have been on anitbiotics for a few days now, but only having some relief) But I always thought that you have congested nasal passages when you have an infection, and I don’t… just wondering if this could be something else… Its really agonizing sometimes and I would like some answers.. Thanks.

You don’t always; sometimes it stays deep in the sinuses. Temple and eye pain/pressure (especially between the eyes) is indicative of a sinus problem, yes; I hadn’t heard of a stiff neck as being a symptom of sinus infection though, odd.

I *would* worry a bit if it’s been several days on antibiotics with little to no improvement, though; you may need a different antibiotic. I’d suggest calling up your doctor again for advice. You may also need a decongestant and expectorant to help thin the congestion in the sinuses and help relieve the pain and pressure while the antibiotic hopefully works on the cause. There’s a lot of good over-the-counter ones; I personally prefer Mucinex these days.
