have tryed a cool rag and i have even tryed a pain pill and i still have no relief can someone please tell me what i can do for relief…thxs

has been hurting for a week now, it was in my face under my cheekbones the first few days, now all the pain is in my forehead area. I can’t even lean over or I feel like I am going to pass out because the pain is so intense. I have tried all kinds of sinus medication and I start a new job in 2 days, any quick relief ideas? Im just wondering if a sinus infection could cause a strange smell in and around the nose/forehead area? And if not what could be causing this strange smell on ones skin around his/her nose and forehead area?
