azithromycin increases a protein in your body called Cytochrom P450, which plays a crucial role in the metabolism of some drugs. Dose adjustment might be necessary for certain class of drugs like heparin, which is a blodd thinner. considering your age and history it should be fine you don’t need any dose adjustments.

I have had this sinus thing going on for like 4 to 6 weeks now. I have went through one round of antibiotics and taking over the counter medicine. Now, My head feels weird. I have a headache behind my eyes and at the top to the back side of my head. Sometimes, it feels like my head is going to pop. I’m still clogged up in my nose and can feel the pressure between my eyes. I just feel kind of floatey and its like I can feel the pressure built up in my head. I don’t know, its kind of hard to explain. I can breathe when I use my nasal spray. I guess, I was just wandering if anybody else has had symptoms like mine and just wandering if there is some relief somewhere that I haven’t found. It kind of seems like I’ve been using that nasal spray so much that it is pushing it up further into my head. Do you know what I mean? I feel fine though. I don’t feel ill and I haven’t had a fever.
Oh man. I really appreciate your guys help. I will definately try everything you guys suggested.

I am currently taking Bactrim SMZ/TMP for a sinus infection, i`ve been taking it for the past 3 day, and it feels like the infection is gone, but the Backtrim is causing me to get really bad nausea and dizziness.
Is there another anti-biotic I can switch to or is there any way to aviod the side-effects of the bactrim?
