Question by Jon: I have this pressure in my top gums. Sinus?
Its not really what I would call “painful”. Its just really uncomfortable and it does seem to sometimes go up around my cheekbones. Sinus pressure? Any remedies? I’ve taken advil but like I said its not really painful…just uncomfortable from the pressure…

yes, i think so.I’m struggling for a couple months with weird pain, like all my top teeth are hurting me on the right side.my Dr gave me antibiotics for 10 days.still hurting.
use some Otrivin, that helps.then pain is back.
going to dentist next week, just in case its a tooth.

To use a neti pot, fill the pot with room temperature water, dissolve salt into the water, stand over a sink, hold the pot up to the nostril, and tilt the head back. Allow the water from a neti pot to irrigate and support the entire sinus cavity with instructions from a wellness educator and herbal medicine specialist in this free video on alternative medicine.

Question by hello: Are the following symptoms indicative of a sinus infection?
My symptoms are:

Excessive saliva in the mouth, constant swallowing, tightness in the throat as a result of always swallowing, burping more often as a result of swallowing saliva, post-nasal drip.

Also, I’ve noticed a crackling sound in my ears, and they make a popping noise when I blow my nose hard enough.

Is this a sinus infection? How can it be cured?
Thanks for the answer. But it doesn’t explain the post-nasal drip that I’ve been having.

Best answer:

Answer by I do care!
This is not a sinus infection at all.

Many people, including myself, ears crack or pop when the nose is blown.

As for the excessive burping, swallowing, can be due to slight reflux and/or indigestion.

If it bothers or worries you a great deal, you need to make an appointment to see your Doctor.
It’s easily fixed with dietary changes and meds.
