I have been dealing with a sinus infection for a year now (non-bacterial). I am finished with medications but would still like to find relief. Any suggestions?

I have never been diagnosed with allergies, but I have had a bad head cold for the last week and I thought I had a sinus infection. The doc said no, you have allergies. She prescribed alegra and nasonex. Opinions on those meds? Any other remedies? Thanks!

I was having allergy problems for about two weeks but then my symptoms got worse and so I decided to see the doctor on Monday. He prescribed me antibiotics for a Sinus Infection and I’ve been taking them for 3 days so far. I no longer have a fever, but I’m still a little congested and feel sick. Is it okay to exercise, will it help or just make it worse?

I have this recurring sinus infection that will not stay gone. I need to see a doctor but even if I get a prescription I can’t afford to pay 60 bucks for antibiotics! I have NO money. Am I just supposed to suffer because I’m broke? If so, that’s ridiculous!
Isn’t there SOMETHING I can do?

Does anybody have any information (or can direct me to a website that does) about the relationship between autoimmune diseases and sinus infections? I don’t have an official diagnosis for a certain autoimmune disease since the docs are still trying to figure out which one, though I have a lot of lupus symptoms just no positive lupus test, only positive ANA.
I have a history of chronic sinus infections (already had my sinuses drained once) and allergies and I have noticed that when I have a bad sinus infection and get on antiboitics I feel so much better after about 5 days. Not just relief from the sinus issues, but also from many of the autoimmune symptoms (fatigue, aches and pain). Just wondering if there is some correlation between the two that may help me get a diagnosis and some long term relief.
