Symptoms:
Pain, Ringing, and stuffiness in both ears
Swollen and tender glands on neck
Chills
NO fever
Sinus drainage
weakness
dizziness
On 3rd day of z-pack
No relief
Whats wrong?
this is the fifth day.
Best answer:
Answer by Ben Sounds like a sinus infection. That z-pack works for ten days. It just takes time to kick in. Sometimes I’ve had to get a second z-pack if my sinus infections don’t clear up by the time it stops working. Hope she feels better.
Question by Cha: Dayquil: Which one is the red one?
Alright, so it’s that kinda transparent looking one with “Dquil” labeled on it in it. So would it be DayQuil Cough, DayQuil Mucus Control, DayQuil Sinus, DayQuil Mucus Control DM, or DayQuil Cold & Flu Relief? I just don’t want any Acetaminophen in it, and if there is can I liquify it out so it would just be DMX or Guaifenesin? Help.
Best answer:
Answer by Truth DMX is Novahistine and a prescription drug containing three other drugs. Not sure what else you are asking. The Dayquil cough and the Dayquil mucous control are the ones without acetaminophen. The other formulations have tylenol in them
Question by amapril08: sore throat from post nasel drip?
This is the third day I’ve had a really bad sore throat. I went to the doc last night and gave me a antibiotic for a sinus infection, she said the sore throat was from post nasel drip. I’ve taken two doses of the antibiotic and have had no relief of the sore throat yet. How soon until my throat feels better?
Best answer:
Answer by lady_bella Green Chili Stew, or Vanilla Chai Tea found in WalMart or Target. That will sooth your throat.

Question by rachelxelite: Chest Congestion No Fever?
I have chest congestion, and loose my voice quite often, but i feel fine other than coughing up phlegm and the runny/stuffy nose, and sinus drainage, no worn down, body aches or anything, occasionally my eyes do bother me like itchyness and dry. I believe this is allergies, i have had no fever or anything but my mucus is sometimes a nasty green, yellow or brown. Is that normal for allergies, and what are some remedies or relief offered, as i am allergic to gaufenicin.
Best answer:
Answer by C A Another possibility that I think is likely based on your symptoms is chronic bronchitis. You don’t usually get a fever with bronchitis and it will cause you to cough up yellow or green phlegm. It also causes chest congestion. It may be related to allergies and/or a sinus infection that causes you to have mucus building up in your chest creating a breeding ground for bacteria, then you get sick. I would really strongly suggest going to see the doctor, preferably an ear, nose, and throat doctor who can properly diagnose the problem and help you treat it. I wouldn’t suggest just trying home remedies at this point as it sounds like you have been sick off and on for quite awhile.
