This statred as a cold a little over a week ago, with slight vision problem, similar to what I have when I get a sinus headache. I called the doctor on Thursday because i was stilled stuffed up and my vision was a little worse. I started a course of antibiotcs and decongestants, it has been 3 days. So far my vision has not improved. Has anyone had something like this? Is this more than just a side effect of my sinus infection?

I suffer from sinus infections all the time, this is normal for the cloudy vision my lasted up to a week or more. The meds should help by the fourth day depending on the milligrams.

Your eyes and nose are connected, also your throat and ears, so to get symptoms in your eyes from a sinus infection is possible. Keep taking the antibiotics and make sure to take the full prescription and your vision should begin to clear as the infection is fought. The best advice I can give though is if your vision does not clear in a few more days go back to your doctor or to an optician to make sure your sight is not permanently effected.
