Does sinus infection cause sore spots on the back of the head?

I am on antibiotics for sinus infection but have these places on the back of my head that are sore and tender when you touch them. Also my head is “buzzing”. I have pain back of my ears also. Is this all from the sphenoid sinus? Has anyone had this and what did you do? Thanks

I’ve had what you are describing just about every time I get a sinus infection. Ask your doctor about the symptoms. You may need something stronger than what you are taking. Or even, a different antibiotic.
