About two weeks ago, I had a sinus infection and was given pills, and I have to finish them until they are gone. So just a few days ago, I’ve developed a phlegmy cough, and it’s especially at it’s worst when I am laying down. I want to know if it would be okay to take a cough drop or tylonal when I am on antibiotics. I don’t want a bad mix of medicines.

I am doing this now. I use Nyquil at night b/c I have the exact same thing and I’m fine

Go right ahead. It will probably make you feel better. If you can take a decongestant, like sudafed, that might help as well.

Increasing your fluid intake will also help your phlegm become thinner and easier to cough up.

    Feel better!

too many ppl are self medicating with tyenol. paracetamol is sufficient for a cold.
