In the mornings, I feel really nauseated due to sinus drainage. Are there any home remedies I could try? Would hot tea help the nausea?

Hot tea might help to settle your stomach. I would try a peppermint tea. Peppermint is naturally soothing for your stomach. Ginger tea or ginger ale can also help to settle your stomach. I’ve heard some people say that a Coke can help as well.

If those don’t work, there is a sucker you can buy that is made for cancer patients to help with nausea. I would check your pharmacy or local hospital gift shop

    Hope this helps!

If you are having drainage, you need to go to a doctor and get antibiotics. You have a sinus infection (which is caused by bacteria, not a virus).

As far as treating the symptom of nausea: gargle with hot salt water–you can simply get hot water from the tap and mix it with table salt. It will cleanse your mouth and throat of the mucous.

Eating white bread can sometimes help “absorb” the drainage (I know it seems gross; but it could help you feel better).

Chicken soup also seems to help. Hot liquids in general can be soothing–plain hot tea or coffee (black).

    Hope you feel better soon!

Try something like Mucinex… it will help loosen up the mucus and possibly help with ur nausea. Gatorade and General might help also.
