She put me on guafenesin and zyrtec but since then i have been feeling a little worse. I am having difficulty trying to swallow i have had no relief in my head or ears..now i just feel like i have a full blown head cold. Is this how it is suppose to be?

Instead of getting “MAKE BELIEVE HEALTH” from treating the symptoms, you need to look at the root cause. Most sinus problems stem from one of two things, bad teeth (or bad dental work) or toxic liver and toxic intestines. To relieve the symptoms of pain, get some castor oil and a flannel cloth. Rub the castor oil over the sinus areas that are in pain and then put some castor oil on the flannel cloth and heat it in the microwave or put hot water on it and place that over the painful area for about 5 minutes. Repeat heating the flannel and applying it over the affected area (about 30 minutes total) and you should feel much better.
Now start looking at those teeth and in particular, any root canals. Most dentists that do root canals are using very bad materials and procedures that are causing all kinds of health problems as a result. Sinus problems are one of those. The medical people will tell you that if you have a sinus problem for over 4 months, it is chronic and that you will have to live with it for the rest of your life. Do you believe that?
Now look at the intestines and your digestion. If you are eating mostly dead cooked foods, you will be enzyme deficient and most likely your intestinal flora will be ziltch. You need to consult with a good Certified Nutritional Therapist or a QRA practitioner to learn what to do so you can get on with a normal life.
good luck to you

sudafed might be easier. is zyrtec still a prescirption? drink alot of water, cause it is dehydrating. also, sudafed can make you nervous.
benadryl is good for allergies, but you’ll feel sleepy from it.
i get alot of sinus headaches, and i take sudafed with advil for them. sometimes breathing in hot steam helps too. see if certain foods trigger your problems. caffeine, cheese, lack of sleep etc.
