Can my deviated Septum come back or return to the other side of the nose?
Posted by: Alan in Sinus Relief, tags: Back, Come, Deviated, Nose, return, Septum, SideI had surgery 1 year ago (almost to the day) My nose is now plugged again even after the sinus rinse and the sprays. My headache has returned but on the other side. If I go to the doctor, will he think I am crazy…or can this happen. The surgery was worth it for the relief I got on my right side?
Has anyone experienced this?

it can return if you really break your nose. if not, you might just be a little paranoid. :p if it’s accompanied by a headache it’s probably your sinuses, not a deviated septum.

It could be a few things, actually.
You may have developed scar tissue.
You may have nasal polyps.
You may have a palatal torus, which is a bony growth of the hard palate that extends upward into the nasal cavity.
Go back to your ENT. He won’t think you’re crazy.
