Sinus infections can linger unless you are able to open your sinus passageways and allow the mucus to flow out.
Use a combination of guafenesin and a decongestant. The guafenesin loosens the mucus, and the decongestant helps open the sinus passageways.
Sometimes the array of options for sinus conditions can be confusing. Rather than detail all the options here, spend some time discussing your condition with your local pharmacist. They will help you pick the right combination of drugs.

I don’t know how you can resolve this in a matter of days — it may take longer than that just to determine the actual cause. Has your doctor been able to do that? Have you have a sinus CT or cultures? Have you been evaluated by an ENT? Start with a culture and proceed from there.

You need to see a doctor. If antibiotics have not worked it may be a fungal sinusitis which would not be treated with antibiotics rather with antifungals. Sinusitis can spread into the skull bones and eventually the brain if left untreated. Your doctor may refer you to an ENT (ear, nose, throat) doctor.

You should have your doc swab your nose and do a culture so they can pinpoint what is causing it…then they can prescribe and specific anti that will treat it.
My brother gets sinus infections one after another and has a hard time getting rid of it with anti. So now they want to do some sinus surgery on him that should prevent him from getting them so much.
