Usually none, since they’re most often viral.
Follow-up: I’m not sure where KristenCO gets her information, but infections can be by bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi, or prions.

A sinus INFECTION is not viral, as previous poster says – it’s a bacterial INFECTION.
I recommend Zithromax, if for no other reason than simply that it’s often only ONE DOSE. I always hate having to take antibiotics for nearly two weeks, when the symptoms cleared up long ago.

dilute apple cider vinegar with water (1/3 to 2/3) and drink twice per day for 6 consecutive days, or just until infection is gone.

I suggest going down to your local Natural med or food store- GNC to find something called Colloidal Silver. I guarantee your sinuses will clear up within 2-3 days. We have been using it in our family for years. They use in the hospitals in the burn wards. It is a natural antibiotic that has no taste, no side effects, safe to take with no tummy upset. Put it in a little juice. Or you can also use it up your nose too.
