Anti inflammatory meds seem to help, but my body gets used to meds so they stop working. When air pressure drops,so do I from reality.I used to have migraines,so I know these are not migraines
Spring, fall, last 2 weeks of the year & 1st 2 weeks of the year are the hardest times for me
Right before rain is here (storms are worst!)Bad times also when I’m dizzy, nauseated,& weak.Sometimes I collapse in weakness. At times my ear canals ring, feel pressure or even hurt.
Drs just give me antihistamines, which sometimes work on allergies, but never for sinuses. The only time I ever get sinus infection is when I have this 3 days. But these headaches almost always last 4-6 hours. No comfort,no relief
Airplane take off/landing make me real dizzy,&I feel sinus pressure start. It’s gone soon after landing
As a kid, in elevators,I would squat in the corner with my head in my hands.I’m adult now, still get a bit dizzy, but not bad.I have more body mass
Any ideas?
Correction, the headaches last 4-16 hours

You can get many different kinds of migraine and I would think that you have a different kind of migrain.

You need medical attension to eliminate the possibility of brain cancer.

    You may also have epilepsy.

    Seek doctor ASAP.

I know how you feel, I get sinus infections so bad that I have a hard time getting out of bed, but I a baby who needs me. but what helps me is saline Nasal mist that helps to break up the sinus pressurre. I try to take meds but nothing else helps. I hope this helps you. feel better soon. You can get this medication at any drug store.

what you describe sounds a little like blood pressure problems too. i have been diagnosed and suffering from bad sinus problems for the past 13 years and i do get migraines but these often start from acute facial aches/pains, where the face feels like its been beaten many times, then proceeds on to migraines. i do suffer from some of the problems you listed too. sadly i have not found a drug that helps, i tried so many but always cave in and take painkillers in the end.

I am on my fourth day of a sinus/migraine headache. Always worse in April and October. When the seasons begin to change they erupt. I used to think these were migraines but when the meds didn’t provide relief, I began to explore sinus problems. My advice is to visit an ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) Dr. They will run a CAT Scan to determine the condition of your sinuses. My doctor advised me that all of my sinuses are blocked and that surgery may be my only option. I believe this surgery will involve cleaning/clearing the sinuses and then enlarging them to prevent further problems. I suffer from barotrauma when flying and it is a most unpleasant experience.
Until then I recommend taking sinus medication as soon as you feel the pressure begin to build. Then rest in a darkened room for at least 20 minutes. Drink plenty of fluids and try not to bend over. A cold compress on the area may also provide relief.
    Good Luck!
