I have a root canal treatment and I’ve waited for two months before putting the permanent seal and sometimes still hurt inside the tooth but the Dentist said its because of my sinusitis. Is it really normal that way?

i had got root canal done last year.. it took me 5 sitting to get the entire thing done..with the cap..it did hurt a lot while the treatment was on but after the cap was fitted it is fine now… do consult a different doctor and take his opinion on this matter if it still hurts..its important!!

When a root canal continues to hurt after 1 month. I usually refund the money to the patient and to the Insurance company and have the patient go to the specialist to have it re-treated. It only happens to us once every two years or so.

    Stuff happens,
    Tell your dentist
    and move on.
A patient in pain is an unhappy patient.
