Run a saline solution into one nostril and let it flow out of the other with your head tilted to the side.
Also use the same saline solution in swimming goggles or an egg cup to wash your tear duct canal which is linked to your sinus.

Use a small rubber suction bulb which can be purchased at your local drug store or pharmacy and make a solution of salt water.
1. take the dropper and fill it with salt water.
2. hold your head back and drop a few drops down each nostril. Keep holding your head back and let the salt water drip down the back of your throat.
Salt water opens your nasal and sinus passages and keep the sinus infection minimized. You'll feel a lot better.
But still see your Doctor.

I had a really bad sinus infection recently - no symptoms of a cold or nasal blockage, just a severely stuffy head and constant headaches. I cured it by closing all my windows at night and using a menthol humidifier. I had it fairly close to where I sleep so as to get the full benefits of it, and during the day, I kept sniffing a handkerchief that I'd smeared Vicks Vapour rub on. I also took an over-the-counter medicine specifically for sinus headaches/problems.

Strong ginger tea, honey and edible camphor are key home remedies for sinus infection. They are effective against sore throat and sinus blocks brought on by allergies or a nasty cold. Edible camphor & strong mint are specially potent in unblocking sinuses and relieving bad breath. For me, ginger tea works very well along with water-boiled leaves of the ocimum sanctum (holy basil) plant.
