Keep holding your head back and let the salt water drip down the back of your throat. Salt water opens your nasal and sinus passages and keep the sinus infection minimized. You'll feel a lot better. I cured it by closing all my windows at night and using a menthol humidifier. I had it fairly close to where I sleep so as to get the full benefits of it, and during the day, I kept sniffing a handkerchief that I'd smeared Vicks Vapour rub on. I also took an over-the-counter medicine specifically for sinus headaches/problems.
