What The Hell, Is This A Sinus Infection Or What?

I know lymph nodes are a bad sign when they are hard and fixed in place, but for some reason my lymph nodes are usually like that. I have two under each ear that was hard and fixed but are not swollen and my doctor said they’re fine. I once had one behind my right ear a couple years ago that are hard and fixed but it went away. Now 3 days ago I got another hard and firm lymph node behind my left ear.
I was scared it was cancer but is there a chance that maybe my lymph nodes are just that way? Since I have NEVER felt a pea-sized movable lymph node on me the way its been described and all my hard and fixed swollen lymph nodes from the past have gone back to normal.
Anyways, 3 days after I felt that node behind my ear, I began feeling pressure in my head, a clogged nose (that stays clogged but I cant blow out any mucus), and slight pain behind my neck. Does this sound like a sinus infection?
Note: Dont tell me to c a doc, i have an appointment on tuesday. I just wnat your opinions.

You’ve probably got some really dried and caked gunk in your sinuses and nasal passages.
Try a saline nasal RINSE (not a spray) A full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It draws out all the gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean).
The buffered salt doesn’t ’sting’ as much as plain salt water. You can use a new method like Nasopure, or the vintage, Netipot
You can do this a often as you like with no side effects.
You don’t need a prescription for this therapy. If you live in a state like mine, they’ve pretty much “outlawed” sudafed medicine. Drug-free is really the way to go on a frequent-use basis.

It probably is sinus related. Your lymph nodes swell because they are fighting “something”, and with your noted symptoms it probably is sinus related. Until you see your doctor, treat your symptoms with over the counter cold and sinus meds, make sure to drink plenty of water, and don’t forget to rest. Have some throat lozenges on hand also, because if it is your sinuses it probably won’t be long before it starts to drain into your throat which will become irritated. Best of luck.
