Might I suggest you get tested for Celiac Disease? CD is an autoimmunce disorder (many folks with lupus also have CD). That usually causes stomach problems but can cause a whole list of problems. Sinus and other infections being one of them. Fatigue, gastro symptoms, infertility, dental problems, are just some of the symptoms. The solution for CD is easy, a gluten free diet. But you need to be diagnosed first in order to rule out other problems. Please visit the sites listed for more help! Best of luck!

"Autoimmune disease" is catch all. The body really doesn't attack itself, it attacks the cause. The best way to address the problem is through nutrition so that your body is equipped to fight this.
My wife had a problem 5 or 6 years ago. She was having pain in joints all over her body. This started after she had an infection that wouldn't heal. They prescribed anti-biotics for 10 days, then another 10 days. Still, no progress. Sent her to a specialist. He put her on a stronger anti-biotic for 30 days. Her wound wasn't healing. She was finally convinced to apply bio-available whey protein (yes, a food) onto her wound. It finally began to heal.
Back to her pains. Her doctor thought she might have symptons of Lupus and sent her to another specialist. They prescribed pain killers and maybe something else. They took blood samples and told her to come back in two weeks. In the meantime, I convinced her to call a Natural doctor. He recognized that she had a severe case of candida from the anti-biotics. He put her on an 8 day cleanse, special diet and bio-available whey protein. By the 8th day she was feeling little pain. A couple of days later, she felt great. Oh yes, she had also been taking meds for alergies which she had to quit for the cleanse, she still doesn't need to take those anymore.

There are so many different autoimmune diseases, and a positive ANA can be an indicator for many. If you were being tested for Lupus, I'll assume that you must have many of the symptoms for this? I have a "Lupus-Like" disease called Antiphospholipid Syndrome Not all Lupus Patients have this and not all APS patients have Lupus so they are separate diseases. Many doctors do not test for this, but it may be worth looking into for you. In autoimmune disease the body is not recognizing its own cells and attacking them and destroying them. There is treatment for most, but no cure as of yet.
