The above suggestions are very good. I have chronic sinusitis caused by allergic rhinitis and have had your symptoms. It sounds like you have an infection and need antibiotics at this point. Once infection controlled, I find Mucinex-D (2 pills twice daily) and Nasonex (prescription nasal spray) helpful. Also, nasal irrigation twice a day seems to help. Chronic sinusitis is a pain to deal with and can be debilitating. I think finding a good, caring ENT doctor is important. As a last resort if all other treatments do not help you, sinus surgery is an option. There is the old-fashioned type of surgery that can be quite painful and not always helpful from what I have heard and read. But, now there is a new procedure that inviolves shrinking your sinuses via an inflated “balloon” device. This is supposed to be much easier, much less painful and effective in some cases. I think it is being done in a limited number of hospitals in the U.S. at this point. I wish you the best of luck and hope you get some relief soon!

Brush your teeth , gargle your throat and rinse ( ingest through your nose ) your sinuses with warm and MILDLY salted water , stir well & make sure the salt is properly dissolved and DO NOT O/D WITH THE SALT , maybe twice / 3 times a day and it will be gone within 48 hours .

Try taking some decongestants like sudafed if your in the states if not then take some steam inhalation try to clear as much as possible and take some antibiotics like amoxycillin if you dont have any allergies to penicillin like drugs.

Green plem means bacterial infection. Yellow means viral. You need to see a doctor for an antibiotic. Take musinex to thin the phlegm and help relieve pressure.
