I’ve been to my doctor about 3 times in the past couple of years with sinus trouble complaint. Something I got off my father. I began having trouble at around the age of 17, and each time i’ve gone he’s given me some sinus relief spray, or a stronger one when i returned with thr same problem. My septum is slightly deviated to the left, but i’ve never thought much of it. On friday I had a fall and my nose received a blow. Since then it’s been in considerable pain and feels constantly heavy. Breathing is difficult. Today I visited my doc again, he had a look at it and told me he didn’t see anything broken, and ended prescribing me tablets for congestion relief! Which isn’t even the issue.
Does anyone have any advice? Should I see someone else?I’ve become sick and tired of being given nasal sprays.

Yes, see another specialist. It’s important to be able to breathe. I also have a slightly deviated septum and the specialist tried cryotherapy where they use cold nitrogen to burn the inside of your nose. This reduces inflamation for many people for years. In my case it didn’t work because my septum is kind of twisted and I’m going back next week to discuss options such as surgery. Before you see another specialist, use the steroid nasal sprays every day for at least a month. That is what my specialist required before he would discuss other options.
