what is there to figure out.
you have a sinus infection so your white blood cells try to get rid of it and so the white blood cells make you get a fever and that would make you feel nauseous.
go to the doctor and get some antibiotics for the sinus infection and the other problems will go away too.

i agree with Vonna-mucous drainage into the tummy can cause nausea. Sinus infections are nothing to mess with-see a doctor. they sometimes clear up on their own, but not always. prolonged, they get worse, may spread, and have very serious consequences. especially when OTC meds keep you feeling good enough to “get by” and often mask the symptoms-they get worse without you realizing it. and once they reach a certain point, they are VERY UNLIKELY to clear up on their own.
like i said, see a doctor, but also drink lots of liquids to thin the mucous, and try to eat light but frequently (crackers, toast) to reduce the nausea.
good luck-hope you’re feeling better.

The snot draining to your stomach can make you nauseous.
Be sure to see a DR since sinus infections can become very serious.
In the mean time, take an antihistamine like Clariton. Try Mucinex, it melts the mucus and really relieves the pain well. Try adding in Sudafed, the real Sudafed, the one you can only get behind the counter (you’ll need your ID).
Try taking a hot steamy shower, using a vaporizer, or leaning over some steaming water (careful!).
And don’t forget the Tylenol.

Well right now you have two options.
1. go see a doctor. require some TESTS to be done…see what it is, what could be causing it. if they don’t do any kind of swab test, GO TO ANOTHER DOCTOR that will do it. you are paying for the visit! if it is a real sinus infection, then don’t take any prescription medicine or anything OTC because then you’ll have sinus infections FOR LIFE.
2. Decide that your sinus infections can be due to your DIET. if you drink a lot of milk, eat a lot of sugar, eat a lot of white bread (bread with yeast in it) , all of that can cause mucus to build up. (there’s mucus in milk from the cows, you cant exactly filter it out) so that’s making your mucus worse. Eat a lot of vegetables. Eat rye bread with no yeast in it. Try taking a supplement like GSE (Grapefruit Seed Extract) which is a natural anti fungal. Fungus in your body is linked to allergies (food allergies especially). Never eat out (no mcdonalds or even subway is somewhat unhealthy) . Don’t drink coffee or alcohol or tea because all those dehydrate you. Make sure you drink a lot of water. (But not too much to where you start throwing it up ) If you go days without having JUST WATER (juice doesn’t count) it can all lead to mucus buildup b/c your system is dry and i think that causess more things to stick to you.
Well i’m not a doctor, but i’ve learned quite a few things from dealing with health problems. And one thing i’ve learned is that 70% of the time, your doctor makes you sicker

There’s some sort of pressure going on either in your head or in your sinuses that is making you nauseous. It’s probably caused by either an ongoing condition or some sort of illness. I would WebMD it just in case.

I think it could be mucus on the stomach from a post nasal drip with you get from a sinus infection.
