Time to go back to the ENT - you may need a different antibiotic.

Probably the Z-pack was not strong enough or the right medicine to clear up your particular infection. Go back to the dr. and ask to be prescribed a different antibiotic.

It sounds like a really bad infection. Maybe you should see another doctor or go back to your current physician and ask for something stronger. You may have one of those super bugs or a hospital acquired infection.

I would call the ENT back, the Z-pack usually works great for sinus infections.
I wonder if it could have something to do with the surgery? Maybe it is not a sinus infection and you might need a different type of antibiotics.
Good Luck.

Sounds like you're getting a bronchial infection. See your ENT or call Patient First or see your GP. But you shouldn't be getting this after a Z-pack. Should've cleared it up. Lord knows I've taken enough of 'em. Actually I think you might need a chest x-ray to make sure you're not getting walking Pneumonia. Are you running a fever by any chance. If you start, get to a doctor immediately. You'll be infectious at that point.

You need to return to your doctor, your infection is worse. This you already know... but if The ENT isn't keeping a check on your progress it wont heal; if you have a lot of infection without antibiotics that are especially for sinus it won't get better. Once it get better sniffing a weak saline solution with your head bent over or off the bed up each nostril will help heal your sinuses. Allergies also aggravate the sinuses. Hope I have given you some insight on this problem, I was bothered with sinus iinfections for years until a Doctor told me to make a weak solution of salt and warm water and sniff it up my nose. Good luck and I hope you get better soon.

I use to to cure sinus infections. THere are many kinds of bacteria that live in the sinuses, and this gets rid of all the bad ones!.This is the only thing that really helped me --- my Dr. told me about a sinus wash that will kill bacteria.
you need
distilled water
sea salt
liquid chlorophyll and colloidal silver from the health food store.
in a glass mix 1/4 cup water with a pinch of salt and heat to body temperature.
add 5 drops each silver and chlorophyll and mix.
using a large dropper (like one used for infant medication) drop 2 full droppersfull into one side of the nose while laying down.
Turn the head and let it drain out the other nostril. Be sure to have paper towels handy.
The silver kills the bacteria and there are several hundred kind that can live in the sinus cavities and anti biotics don't get rid of them all.
Do this twice a day for a week, mixing up the mixture fresh each time.
Then do it once a week for maintenance.
There is nothing in this that will hurt you, and it cured me.
I do not have to take claritin, or antibiotics anymore.
best wishes
