Is A Congested Ear A Symptom Of A Sinus Infection?

But I have a ear congested, and it feels block, is that a symptom of a sinus infection. I have been taking sudafed, but it does not really work. My main question is; Is having a congested ear during a sinus infection normal?

Yes, it can be. It could also be unrelated, but sinus infections can lead to inflammation and can build up fluid behind your eardrum. Sudafed probably won’t help at all because that is an antihistamine, better for allergies and runny noses. If you don’t want to see a doc for antibiotics, I would switch to an anti-inflammatory like asprin or ibuprophin (advil motrin, etc.).
I wouldn’t say that most people get congested ears during sinus infections, but it wouldn’t be rare either. I would guess maybe 5-10%. But that’s just a guess.
