Removing gauze packing post sinus surgery – 2

Had 3 1/2 hour long surgery to remove nasal polyps which took over my entire sinus cavity due to years of chronic allergies. This vid was taken two days after surgery where the doc is removing 4 of the 5 strips. The first one was taken out the day before. Felt like someone was jamming a pencil up my nose…hurt like hell! Yes, I am all doped up this time

@SevereThroatCancer recovery was a bitch but the procedure has made a significant positive impact on my life. im now verry very happy with the results.

@FlutterbyButterfly96 What? Seriously, they do use tampons for nosebleeds (frequently in emergency cases like football injuries) and in nasal surgery because of the shape and absorbancy. How does stating fact make me a douche? V.V

i had the surgery on friday but when my doctor took mine out there was no blood dripping.

Damn… Is it always this intense? I really am not looking forward to it after seeing more and more video’s even though I want to get rid of my nasal polyps badly. This is just… horror.

Um, those were indeed tampons i think. O_O, been using em 15 years, i kinda think i know what a tampon looks like XD

Hi
I have a deviated septum and sinus polyps and I have lost count of the amount sinus infections I have had. Instead of doing someting about it i ve been taking 10 to 15 mg of prednisone daily for the past three years. I was going to the specialist to have something done about it but after watching this I’ve decided against it. Thanks for the video.

Wheww!
The only think worse than taking the packing out is the nasty clotted blood you spit up for two weeks and not being able to breath….
Ahhh! Still send chills down my spine!
