What To Expect After Taking Antibiotics For Sinus Infection?

I have been on Biaxin for two days now, I have felt some relief in my sinus pains, I am just wondering what to expect. What will the antibiotic do? will I cough or hack up thick mucus, also will it help my post nasal drip which is annoying and thick as a bone. My cough isn’t as strong as its been and I feel a little better but I just want to know what to expect.

You will likely drain a lot of thick mucus. If the infection moved into your chest, you will cough up some mucus. You should be feeling pretty normal in about a week.

You’ll cough it up and feel better in a couple days. the nasal drip will dry up.
